Once again I am reminded of Ed, a man who came into my life at the precise time when I needed someone like him the most.   Ed was always so kind and respectful towards me . . . he always made me feel like I mattered.   And yes, he mattered to me as well.    We are not all so lucky to have a boss such as he was.   I still think of Ed from time to time and truly miss the part that he played in my life, though I'm sure that he did not realize his impact and significance to me at the time.    He was someone that I looked up to and someone that I deeply respected, for his kindness, his generosity and his business acumen.

I just learned of Ed's passing a few minutes ago.   So very saddened to learn of his death.    I worked for Ed when he managed the Golden Wings Bingo Emporium in Calgary back in the late '90's and early 2000's until the gaming hall closed.   Ed was a lovely person who always had a wide smile and a kind word for me.  I owe him a debt of gratitude for hiring me at a time in my life when I really needed the extra job.    I will always cherish his memory and hold him in the highest regard.    My dearest condolences to Ed's family.

It is a sad day and Ed will be missed and remembered as the gentle man he was, all our love goes out to you and your family,  he was a dear friend to Ross and I, we did have some good times at the Vista..  You are in our thoughts and prayers today .
