November 21, 1944 – October 28, 2024

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Ed – a husband, dad, grandad, brother, uncle, and friend. Ed passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine; his daughter Delaine (Jason) Barr; his daughter Sara (Sean Dikeman) Haltiner; his grandchildren Sydnie and Kendra; as well as numerous cherished siblings, siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Ed was born on November 21, 1944 in Barrhead, AB.

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for Ed at Chilliwack General Hospital; we appreciate your care and compassion.

A small memorial gathering will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 11:00-1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home in Chilliwack and a larger celebration of Ed’s life will be scheduled in the Spring, 2025.
