Born in Czechoslovakia he graduated from the local mechanical engineering college in his hometown Partizanske. After the soviet invasion in 1968.he immigrated as a young man of 22 to Canada.
After a brief residence in Toronto he moved together with his wife Mariette Bernard to Chilliwack in 1975. He worked shortly as a draftsman for an architecture company after which he started pursuing his childhood passion and began his life-long journey as a car mechanic.
Avid car racer, fisherman, sportsman and hunter, he enjoyed his life to full extend in his new found home in Chilliwack. His uncomplicated and positive character had won him many friends throughout the years as he was helping unconditionally the local and broader Porsche enthusiast community.
Frank will be remembered by us as a great storyteller, bright mind and a walking encyclopedia of Porsche technique and history.
He is survived by his sister Gabriela and nephew Branko.
