I recently heard of Garry's passing I worked with him at Lower Fishing Lake years ago  he was a considerate kind man  I'm so sorry to hear he is gone.  He was a good good person.

My condolences to his family and friends over Garry's death. I worked with Garry in the 1980's at Narrow Hills Provincial Park. He was dedicated to environmental conservation and he made good friends with many local residents and clients. I know he is dancing the two step in heaven.

I worked with Gary in the fire program and always enjoyed his humor ,we always had fun and good laughs.
He will always have a special spot in my heart.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of a sweet soul.  Cherish the memories. I remember Gary with much fondness and have many happy memories from years ago that my sister, Sharon and I spent with him.  He was a good man. What a loss. My heart hurts.

*sigh* We lose another positive person too soon. Will miss the visits during hunting season and anytime he felt the need to visit us at the farm. Miss ya cous'. Will hoist a home made whine in your memory.

We are so saddened by the news of Gary's passing. He was such a kind man and such a good friend to my brother Bob Turnbull. We all will miss him. Sincere condolences to the family.

I first got to know Garry when we were both students in Grade 2 or 3 at Arthur Pechey School.  I dimly remember Garry teasing all the little girls (me included) and getting heck from the teacher.
After many years, I got to know Garry all over again as an honest, hardworking and dedicated employee at Sask. Environment.  Garry always preferred to spend his time on the fire line rather than wasting time filling out his timecard.  Garry's love of the outdoors was reflected in his choice of career and the way he spent a lot of his leisure time.

Very honored to call Gary a true friend, he was truly dedicated  to the north, his job and his co workers. Gary was always the person if assigned work you knew it would get done, maybe not always according to the book but he would figure out the Zuck way..You will be truly missed by all your friends in the forestry and fire fields. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolences to the family, he leaves a large void in the hearts of all that knew him well.  I worked with Garry off and on since the early 1980's and have many fond memories but the qualities that stick out to me include his hard working ethic - it did not matter what he was doing, fighting fires, dealing with poachers, training, you knew he would give you 100% effort.  His kindness and honestly also stick out in my mind as exceptional. If you asked him something, you would get a complete, true and honest answer.  It did not matter if he was trying to convey a fire fighting concept to an individual with limited English literacy skills or he was dealing with an elderly person through his work at home care, he would get the job done but more importantly, through his kindness, he would enrich their lives a little bit and make them feel better about themselves.  Well, Rest In Peace Garry and I will miss your wry smile and handshake as we would bump into one another from time to time!

To the loss  of a good friend, we have known  you Garry for many years.  We have hunted together and shot a few moose together and fished many times at East Trout Lake and had a good time.  You stayed over at our cabin while he was on patrol in the area.  With the great  sadness we are very sorry to see you go,  you were a good friend and will remember you in our hearts forever!!!!
