George Jamil Farah passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 66. He will be sadly missed by his wife Frances Pontes, his children Grace Pontes, Myrna Wheeler (Steve), Mario (Mirna) Zakaib and Maurice Zakaib, his grandchildren James and Olivia Johnston and by his brother Joseph Farah (Pilar), sisters Mary Zakaib and Georgette Sayer. He will be lovingly missed by a large extended family in Quebec, Ontario and BC. George is predeceased by his parents Anissa and Jamil Farah, sister Madeline Layoun, brother Elijah Farah and son Jamil Farah. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Mt Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue, Chilliwack, BC. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until 10:50 am.
