Survived by her husband Dennis, daughter Cindy (Dan), son Chris, grandsons Brad and Dylan, and sister Jannette and brother Hugo (Jeanette). Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Geraldine and brother in law Henry.
Born Gerdina Spanjersburg in Maasluis, Holland on September 1, 1946, she traveled to Canada in 1953 with her family initially settling in White Rock and then moved to Keremeos. On September 4, 1965 she married her high school sweetheart Dennis and they moved first to Victoria and then later to the lower mainland where they raised their family.
She passionately owned every role she played whether that be as loving wife, meticulous homemaker, caring and understanding mother, doting grandmother, sister, loyal friend or workmate/teammate.
