He was born in Vancouver and raised in Kelowna, BC. He was a graduate of Rutland Senior Secondary in 1973. Gordon then was an exceptional employee for School District 23 for 24 years. A proud church member and volunteer at KCC and the Kelowna food bank. His talents were many, a beloved husband, father, grandparent, loving volunteer, and friend who he enjoyed making you laugh. He enjoyed camping with his family, and spending time on the lake fishing. Later in life he found his hidden talent in art, going on cruise vacations with his phenomenal wife, playing board games and cards with his family. Gordon found much pleasure drinking a cup of coffee; which truly was his love language.
Gordon is survived by his beautiful wife Mirella, three sons: Trevor, Jonathan, David, daughter in-laws: Sierra and Ashley, Grandsons: Tatum, Krue, Luca, Obi, sister: Linda Maxwell, brother in-law: Neil Maxwell, nephew: Kevin Maxwell, his wife Rochelle, and their daughters: Emma and Olive.
The family would like to express their thanks to all the amazing people who were truly there for him, and to those who loved and supported him throughout his entire life.
