Gregg came from humble beginnings in Moncton, New Brunswick. He was a very independent child who at a young age of 12 was riding the rails to anywhere. He would get off the train in any town and find work to feed himself and explore. This is probably where he learned his love of travel.
Gregg married in Halifax, Nova Scotia and later moved to Montreal, Quebec with his wife, Joan (nee Stewart), and there, they had two children, Derrick and Donna. Gregg had joined the Navy and set sail to fight in the Korean war. This was something he was very proud of. Unfortunately, the marriage dissolved and Gregg moved to Vancouver where he enjoyed most of his life. He worked in the bartending business where he met the love of his life, Muriel (nee Taylor). Gregg and Muriel loved to golf and travel. Once they retired, they traveled to over 110 countries around the world. They made friends with everyone they met. They had incredible adventures together. They loved to winter in El Mirage, Arizona and had so many good times with the many many friends they made there. They were notorious for hosting large parties and dancing together was something they loved to do.
Gregg lived a very full life of 90 years. He and Muriel lived a life together that only people dream of. Now, they are together again, dancing everywhere they are traveling to in the universe now.
Gregg was predeceased by his wife Muriel, his son Derrick, his sisters Jean and Helen, and is survived by his daughter Donna (Calvin), many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters Georgina and Florence, his brothers Gerry and Sterling, many nieces and nephews, very special friends Arlene and Blain and many, many, many friends around the world.
Dad, have fun traveling the universe now and dancing with Muriel on every star.
I love you and will miss you more than you know.
Signing off as you would…LOL D.
