We are sad to announce the passing of Hank Giesbrecht on Aug 17, 2016 at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 90. He was born in Umsk, Russia and arrived in Coaldale, Alberta, when he was 4 months old. Eventually the family settled in Yarrow. He had 8 brothers and 3
sisters. Hank was the barber in Yarrow from 1945 until his retirement in 2014, at the ripe old age of 88. He loved the game of golf, and you would find him on the course most Wednesdays. He always had a smile on his face and when
questioned on how he was doing, it was always “One hundred percent”.
Hank is survived by his wife Kay, married 61 years; daughter, Maureen Vogt (Garry Wall), son, Alan (Marion)
grandchildren, Nikki, Jordan and Danica and great grandchildren, Kaiya and Quentin.
Arrangements under the direction of Henderson's Funeral Homes & Crematorium Ltd., Chilliwack, British Columbia.
