Henry James Young

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Henry. Henry James Young passed away on November 23rd 2022 just one week after his twelfth birthday. He was born on November 16th 2010, to parents Hayley and Kevin Young, in Belleville Ontario.

Henry was a people person. Spending time with his family and friends was his favorite thing. He always wanted to be apart of the party and loved going on walks and seeing the sights.

Henry was born with a rare genetic disorder that caused him to live with global developmental delays. He faced many challenges to his health in his short life but his bravery and resilience inspired everyone who knew him.

Henry was so lucky to have so many people who loved and cared for him. They made his life brighter and happier. We are always grateful for Jeff and Theresa. We will never forget everything you did for Henry.

Henry is survived by his parents, Hayley and Kevin, brother Benjamin, sisters Audrey and Meredith, maternal grandparents James and Patricia, paternal grandparents Lois and Michael, and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Riverside Christian Reformed Church, located at 7452 Morrow Rd, Agassiz, BC on Friday, December 16th 2022 at 2:00pm. The family encourages all who knew and loved Henry to come and remember him with us. Please wear happy colours in Henry's honor.
