On Saturday January 6th 2018, God called our beloved mother Hildagard Therese Maron home. She was born in Goldap Regellan Germany December 3 1923. she immigrated to Canada in 1925 at the age of two. The family settled on a farm in Whitemouth, Manitoba. It was there she met her one and only true love Frederick Maron, and they were married on July 12th 1941. They moved to Chilliwack in 1967 and bought a farm on South Sumas. It is here they continued to raise their family. She also began her career at York Farms, where she would work until her retirement in 1988. She was predeceased by her parents and husband Fred Maron (1976), son Ernie Maron (2006), and sister Irma Anteya. She is survived by her two brothers Alfred and Gary Gesell, as well as her two sisters Elly Machel and Linda Penner, her children Ralph Maron (Kathy), Faye Wedel (Ron) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
