On September 22, 1951 he married the love of his life, Jean. This was followed by the birth of his daughter Sandra (Darrell), another daughter Brenda (Mike), his son Richard (Tracy), and another son Greg (Linda).
Dad's greatest treasures, his grandchildren; Wayne, Stacee-Lee (D), Anthony (D), Nichole, Bradley (D), Brandi, Morgan, Brooke, Aubrey, Mac, Sam, and Jake.
His great-grandchildren;Jarryn, Matthew, Kennedy, Annelle, Courtney, Brayden, Logan, James, Emma, Mary-Ann, Ayla, Ella, Weston, Dawson, Ashton, Norah, Holly, and Darcy.
Dad worked as a milkman, logging truck driver, cab driver, manager at Arrow Building Supplies, Windsor Plywoods in Haney and finally as a pioneer, owning with his son Rick, Windsor Plywoods in Abbotsford.
He was a great woodworker, avid hunter, camper, and road tripper. He loved music and dreamed of one day making a violin. He was a faithful friend and loyal brother to thirteen brothers and sisters.
Most of all he was a family man, a loving husband of almost 65 years to Mom, a wonderful father to us children, an inspiration and example of integrity.
