James Arnold Brook

James Arnold Brook AKA "Santa Claus" , age 90, of Chilliwack, British Columbia passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. James was born May 14,1935 in Toronto Ontario and he grew up on a farm in Kemptville Ontario until he left on his own at 14 years old. James got his electrical degree from the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force). He worked as an electrician for the Richmond School Board. You may also know him as Santa Claus as he played that role for many many years bringing smiles to those of all ages.

He was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Gladys Brooks (nee Adams); step parents Leila and Howard Adams

James will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverly Brook of 70 years sons Norman Brook (Maureen),

Don Brook and John Brook; daughter Diane Beaudry as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Jackman Manor for all the love and care they provided for James in his final days as well as Chilliwack Hospital for the compassionate care he received during his last month there and Woodlawn Mt Cheam for helping the family through this most difficult time.
