Jan lived a life defined by curiosity, kindness, and quiet strength. She worked as a dedicated medical courier, a role that allowed her to combine her love of driving with her commitment to helping others. Beyond her work, Jan had a deep passion for reading, often finding joy in the pages of a good book. She loved animals of all kinds, and her compassion for them reflected her gentle spirit.
A lover of history and culture, Jan could often be found exploring museums or learning about the past, always eager to expand her understanding of the world. She had a natural gift for appreciating life’s simple pleasures and shared that warmth with everyone around her.
Jan will be lovingly remembered by her son Patrick, daughter-in-law Stephanie (née Rooney), and her cherished grandchildren Keaton, Emerson, and Laine. She is also survived by her brothers Jim and Wayne Pyke, as well as extended family and many dear friends.
Though there will be no formal service, a private scattering of her ashes will take place at a future date, where loved ones will gather to honor her memory.
Her story lives on in the hearts she touched, and her spirit will be remembered with love always.
