Jenny Mulder, 99, of Chilliwack, BC, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jenny’s deep faith in Jesus was central to her life, and she faithfully prayed for and cared for those she loved.
Jenny is lovingly remembered by her three children: John (Edna), Tena (Paul), and Stan (Jill). She was blessed with nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Jenny was born on March 5, 1927, in Wijeterp, Netherlands. In 1950, she met the love of her life, Henry Mulder, and together they began building their family. They welcomed their first two children, John and Tena, before immigrating to Canada in 1960. After settling in Edmonton, Alberta, they welcomed their third child, Stan.
Twelve years later, the family moved to Abbotsford, British Columbia, where Jenny and Henry built a beautiful life together. They loved celebrating milestones together with their family, going to Stanley Park, Lynden and Salt Spring Island. Family was extremely important to Jenny. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Jenny was predeceased by her husband, Henry, in 2013, and her grandson, Steven, in 2022. Jenny spent the final 12 years of her life at Menno Primrose, Chartwell Chilliwack, and later the Bradley Centre in Chilliwack, where she received wonderful care.
Jenny will be remembered for her kind soul, her deep love for children, and the delicious baked goods she so lovingly shared with those around her. Her warmth and generosity touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed. She is now reunited with the love of her life in the presence of her Lord.
