Karen Elizabeth Lauzon

Karen passed away peacefully in her home on May 4th, 2025, in Chilliwack at the age of 64.

Born in Vancouver, BC on September 14th, 1960. Karen is survived by her Husband, Dan, Daughter, Marina Jansen, Son, Jordan (Rhonda) Jansen. Blended family Daughters are Jenna (Chris) Winterhoff, Catherine Lauzon & Tina Lauzon. And a shit load grandchildren. Siblings Kelly (Ron) Boyle, Guy (Vicky) Maynes & Lisa Mammel. Uncles, Aunties & Cousins, Nieces & Nephews & lots of very close friends.

Her battle with cancer was long. Karen always wanted to spend time with her family & friends. She loved to travel and enjoyed being outdoors. She would camp every day if she could. Karen had such a gentle spirit and nurturing heart. She always made us laugh. We take comfort in knowing that her love and memories will live on in our hearts forever.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at 1st Fairfield Scouts Hall, 47130 Hope River Road, @ 2 PM to 4 PM on May 24th. In lieu of flowers, donations would be accepted to go towards a tree to be planted at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve, she will be smiling down upon us.

There will be coffee, tea, and snacks served.
