Kenneth Stanley Day
February 14, 1925 – September 6, 2019
IN THE CARE OF
Ken, born in Claresholm, AB on Feb. 14, 1925, is sadly missed by his children Russ (Susan Smyth), Keli Swinnard (David), and grandchildren Lisa (Liz) and Alex (Emilie) and great-grandchild Sophia.
After serving in the Air Force in WWII, he married Kay, his loving wife of 64 years, who predeceased him in 2016. He rejoined the Air Force in 1959 and the family lived in many parts of Canada and Germany; he’d often say to Kay “Stick with me and I’ll take you to … see the world”, and they did. After retiring from the Canadian Forces as a Chief Warrant Officer, he sold real estate in the Fraser Valley – to him the most beautiful place in the world.
A private Celebration of Life is being held - in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society are appreciated.
