He was predeceased by his mother Charlotte Lakusta and step-dad Gord Engstrom. He is survived by his grandfather John Lakusta, father Pete Morneau, sister Leah Morneau (Kyle), his niece Isabelle Morneau, nephew Jacob Morneau (Dana), Noah Morneau and many more family members.
He attended Prince Charles Elementary and LA Matheson Senior Secondary. He enjoyed bike riding with his BMX or motorcycle and loved baseball. He collected baseball cards since he was young. He worked at the Quay market and various moving companies. For some time, he volunteered at the church in New Westminster to help with whatever was needed there. It was his nature to help others, even when it meant sacrificing so others had what they needed.
Donations to honor Kenric may be given to his sister Leah or to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
