

3,2022 at the age of 93.
Lucille was Born in Ashington England, she passed away in the
city of Chilliwack, the place she called home, surrounded by those who loved her.
Lucille started her teaching career in Castlegar BC in a one room schoolhouse and she
went on to teach in the city of Chilliwack school district for 48 years, teaching was one
of her greatest passions in her lifetime. Throughout her life she was passionate about
so many things. She loved music, singing with her Sweet Adelines group for 25 years.
Making many memories along the way. She also loved taking photographs, gardening,
sewing, playing her ukulele, quilting and all along the way teaching anyone who was
willing to be a part of the things she loved doing. Traveling around any chance she got
with her family was something special to her; she was always grateful to get to travel
anywhere.
Lucille will be deeply missed by those who loved her dearly. Her daughter Jan Hall.
Her son Dean Dyer, and his wife Ivann Dyer, grandchildren Ashley Dyer, Justin Dyer and his
wife Juliette Dyer. Her great grandkids, Isabelle, Evan, SaIge, Corbin and Grace. Lucille you
may now be laid to rest knowing we are all thank you for the guidance and many lessons that
you have taught to us all along the way.
Lucille’s family would like to thank the Cascade
Hospice and all those involved in the care and support you provided for her. Special thank you
to those who were close to her and all the love and support that was provided we know she is
forever grateful to all.
