Luke Samuel Golnik, our miracle, entered this world surrounded by many prayers and much love at 3:22 pm on March 25, 2015, weighing 4lbs 12oz. After 7 days our little angel was called to the Lord at Canuck Place in Vancouver, B.C. on April 1, 2015 at 3:55 pm. After struggling with Trisomy 18, he gently was welcomed into the arms of Jesus.
Luke is the son of Glen and Pamela Golnik. He is the answer to their prayers and a wonderful blessing sent from above. Luke is the brother to Amelli (Golnik), Shailin and Brandon (Plazzotta). His paternal great grandparents are Elli and Alfred Golnik of Chilliwack, B.C. His paternal grandparents are Sigrid and Danalt Golnik of Listowel, Ontario. His paternal Aunts, Denise and Shauna Golnik and Uncle, Duane Golnik. His maternal grandparents are Roi and Tana Moore of Kitchener, Ontario.
His maternal Aunt, Nichole and Uncle Roi Moore & Rob Tikel. His maternal cousins, Nathan, Shawn (Tikel) and Olivia and Owen Moore.
During Luke’s brief visit on earth, he loved his snuggles with daddy and mommy, kisses from his sister, Amelli, holding a loving finger, sucking his soother, being sung to “Jesus loves Me” and being read “God Gave Us You.”
Funeral services will be held at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. There will be a brief viewing at 12:30pm followed by the service at 1:00pm.
