Margaret Evelyn Roffel

She will be deeply missed by her brothers Paul Hegwald and David Hegwald, sister Janice Hadford and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husbands Don Burlinguette and Bill Roffel, brother Raymond Hegwald, sisters Judy Hegwald, Lois Hegwald and Anna Swanson, and parents Alexander and Lillian Hegwald.

Margaret was born in Leroy, Kansas USA and grew up in Burlington, Kansas on her parents farm and sawmill. She had many fond memories of her time growing up with lovely parents and her siblings. After graduation Margaret moved to Arlington, Washington with her family and started her employment as a long distance operator. She also worked as a computer operator, secretary and a computer operator for Boeing. Margaret met her first husband Dr. Donald Burlinguette and moved with him to Estevan, Saskatchewan. After Don passed away, Margaret moved to Abbotsford BC and met her second husband Bill Roffel and then settled in Chilliwack, BC. Margaret loved to travel, be involved with her church and get together with friends and family. Throughout her entire life she held an unwavering faith to God, which she shared with those around her. Her favorite bible verse was John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
