Margaretha Grietje Bosch

Margaretha (Grace) passed away on Sunday January 1, 2023, at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 90 years. She was born April 25, 1932, in Hoogkerk, Netherlands. Grace is survived by son Ike (Carmen), sister Maike, brother in law, Martin and Sister in law, Didi. As well as, many nieces and nephews in the Netherlands.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerrit, sisters Aaltje, Martje and brother Luit.

Grace came to Canada in 1959 and landed in Toronto where she met the love of her life, Gerrit and later married on August 27, 1960. In 1965 they welcomed their son, Ike. They later moved to BC in 1970. In 1980, they purchased a dairy farm in Agassiz, where they worked on until the early 90’s. After retirement, they moved to Chilliwack, BC.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A visitation for Margaretha will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Henderson's Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P2S9. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P2S9. A reception will occur Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 45901 Victoria Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P2S9. A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Chilliwack Cemetery, 10010 Hillcrest, Chilliwack, BC V2P5T6.
