Marie Hunter Mercer passed away on Monday January 9th at Bradley Centre Chilliwack at age 102 years. Marie was born July 11 at Lillooet, BC. Marie is survived by her three daughters Linda (Elles) Peleskey, Fern Owen (Terry Sawchuk) and Barb Mercer (Ray Ramey), her four grandchildren James (Marisa), Amy (Pat), Hunter and Drew, her three great-grandchildren Danielle (Cory), Justin and Tyler, and great-great-grandchildren Brody and Aria. She was predeceased by her spouse Foster Mercer. Marie was a homemaker who often found herself as a "cattle farmer." Marie loved to knit and bake, and always had a great humor and outlook on life. We want to thank all the great caregivers at Bradley Centre who helped Marie maintain her sense of humor to the end. A memorial will be held at a later date.
