Marilyn Anne Lear (Telford)

Passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Dec 8, 2022 exactly 1 year after the passing of the Love of Her Life Roy, to the very day, after a courageous battle with Cancer. She was 81 years young.

She was so loved and will be missed by all her family…and anyone who knew her.

Her Daughter’s Christine (Richard), Shelley (Dave), 5 grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Her brother Trevor Telford (Wendy) and Sister Gail Telford and many Nieces and Nephew’s.

Marilyn was born March 8, 1941 and grew up in the Lower Mainland. She had many musical talents and would play accordion for her family at Christmas time with her Uncle Walt on the piano and her Mom on the Ukulele. Many wonderful Christmas’s spent singing and playing music. She even played the Accordion while sitting on the front of the family boat with her little brother Trevor and little sister Gail listening while going across to the Gulf Island’s. Amongst her many talent’s she had a beautiful singing voice and even made a few Cassette Tapes back in the day.

She met the love of her life, Roy Lear in 1960 and they married in 1961. Had 2 Daughter’s Christine, and Shelley. They moved to Hudson’s Hope for a few years while Roy worked on the Dam. They then bought their home in Port Coquitlam and settled there for many years before they sold and moved to Abbotsford where they lived for some time. In 1993 Marilyn and Roy moved out to Chilliwack and lived there for the remainder of their time. Surrounded with the Love of Family, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Marilyn along with her husband Roy accepted Jesus as their Personal Saviour in about 1978 and never looked back. Her life was filled with His presence from that day forward. She is now in His presence and dancing around the Throne of God.
