Michael Grant Kelly passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025 at Vancouver General Hospital, at the age of 47 years. He was a caring, loving husband, a devoted and proud father, and a kind, extraordinary son.
Mike was born in Vancouver, BC on November 13, 1977, the son of Margaret Garrard and Grant Kelly. He is survived by his wife Teresa; son Tyler; daughter Olivia; and his mother Margie and stepfather, Ken. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his father, Grant Kelly.
Mike will be remembered as a loyal, fun-loving friend, a supportive mentor, an enthusiastic, talented player as well as coach, and a helpful neighbour. Mike was a friend to all who met him, and he will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Gathering will be held in November, and details will follow.
