Morgan was the kind of girl who never made you feel lesser for being different. My oldest sister used to babysit Morgan and Kaitlyn. I would of course always tag along; so much that they became like a second family to me. We would play Mario Party on GameCube for hours and eat marshmallow fluff straight out of the container, or take turns dancing/singing on her toy box to Avril Lavigne
 (until I fell through the box, breaking it..). 
She had such a bright imagination, and an infectious laugh. I'll never forget all of the games we played together. 

Anyone who knew me back then, knew I struggled with sleepovers. Most times it would get me excluded from parties. Morgan didn't treat me any different, she'd always let me try to spend the night, and Brandi was always there waiting downstairs to take me home. Id be invited back the next morning to finish the sleepover so I didn't miss out or feel different from the other girls.  I forever thank you all a thousand times. Your family gave me more than good memories, you all gave me a sense of belonging and stability, and so much more. To Brandi and Kaitlyn, thank you for being a home away from home for me when I needed it, and extending your love to a little girl in need. You are a beautiful family inside and out and I am so sorry for your loss.. I wish in these past years I would've reconnected to let her know how much she meant to me and impacted my life. Morgan you were a wonderful person, and an even greater friend. Thank you for all the happy memories, and laughter over the years. I'll cherish them forever..

Through elementary, middle, and high school, Morgan was always a friendly face and a light to those who knew her.  After high school especially,  instances of us bumping into each other became few and far between, but it was always nice to see that familiar face when we did cross paths.  I’m so glad I  bumped into her one last time this past summer.

To Brandi, Kaitlyn, and family: I am so sorry for your terrible loss. Sending you all a big squeeze and thinking of you often. I hope you are being supported in all the ways you need during this unimaginable time.

To Morgan: I want you to know I often thought of you as I drove past your childhood home many days this past year on my way to work. I remembered 5 or so girls sharing your bed at a sleepover, tucking our feet up on the couch so your cat wouldn’t attack our ankles, and digging into your birthday ice cream cake with forks, not bothering to cut slices first (and then eating the rest for breakfast the next day). These are very happy memories of our younger years that I hold near and dear,  especially now that you aren’t here to hold them too. 
I hope your rest is gentle and peaceful, and I hope we can meet again someday. Love you my friend 🤍


We met Morgan in our visit with family to BC in 2017. What a delightful young woman and member of our extended family. Although many miles separate us, our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate this loved, wonderful young lady. We feel privileged to have spent a little time with Morgan. She will be missed but not forgotten. Wish we could be there to share our love with the family.

We are very sorry for your loss.  Our hearts go out to all of Morgan’s family.  Although a great distance separates us from you we mourn with you and are holding you up in our prayers during this difficult time.

I’m so grateful to have met Morgan at Rundle and bond over our mutual dislike for the 5-lap run and then later bond over shared interests. She was a great friend. I will remember fondly all of our walks home from Rundle and CSS, walking my dogs together, sleepovers, Party in the Park, and walks to Sticky’s candy store. She was so caring, sassy in the best way and just a joy to be around. She was a person you could always count on. She also introduced me to so many bands. Whenever I hear a 5 Seconds of Summer song I will think of her. Sending my condolences and love to Kaitlyn, Brandi and the rest of her loved ones. She will be greatly missed. ❤️

Morgan was one of my sisters best friends in elementary school and on. She slept over all the time and spent so many afternoons playing at our townhouse. She was so funny, caring and just a light to be around.

she was a big part of my childhood, I have so many memories of birthday parties, and sports days. Trick or treating and more. 
I am so sad by the news of her early departure. My heart goes out her mother Brandi who raised two amazing daughters, and who never should have had to say good bye so soon. 

I will always remember Morgan when we were kids and coming over, hanging out, going to the leisure Center. I remember she let me sleep in her room when the cat (Manna?) kept attacking me. I will greatly miss her and bonding over having similar careers. 

Morgan was a wonderful friend to my daughter Kim, from elementary school through to high school. She was always so bright and happy. I remember when she got her first job at Great Glasses, standing on the street corner waving their advertising board like a champion! I still think of her when I pass that street and how joyful she always was. To me that is "Morgans' corner" now.  She also had my Kim's back through high school when Kim went through a difficult experience, and I know she'll continue to watch over her.  Morgan, your bright and beautiful light may have left this earth too soon but I know we will see you again one day, sweet girl.  I picture you standing on heaven's corner, still waving like a champ and shining your light. God bless you, precious girl and much love and peace to your family. xo

Having the opportunity to grow up with Morgan was an absolute blessing. Morgan’s smile and infectious laugh could light a room in seconds! She was a huge part of my childhood and I will cherish every moment with her for the rest of my life.  We played fairy’s everyday, ate mars bars like they were going out of style, had sleep overs every chance we could get and were just crazy kids together! She holds such a special place in my heart! Sending Brandi and Kaitlyn all of my love ❤️
