Nancy was such a sweet caring person. I especially remember how helpful she was to her grandpa Don the different times he was in the hospital. She loved the Lord and is certainly in His presence. My sympathy and prayers.

Nancy was a light to this world. So beautiful inside and out.  My birthday twin:). Words can’t express the sadness I feel. A reminder to not put off spending time, with people you care about. Nancy will be greatly missed, by so many. Memories cherished.  It’s comforting to know she had a personal relationship with God, which gives me no doubt, she’s up there dancing up a storm, in complete peace:)

I first met Nancy at work when I was a brand new nurse. She was always so kind, patient, and supportive. She was one of the best nurses I had the opportunity of working with. 

My deepest condolences go out to Nancy and her family during this difficult time.

I miss you. Your sweet little face etched in my memory. We had some really great laughs together on night shift. We also had many many long talks on the phone. You were an amazing RN! So kind and compassionate for our residents. My sincere condolences to Nancys family. I’m so sorry for the pain you are having to endure. Nancy will be greatly missed and remain in my thoughts. I have many fond memories of us. Our many laughs, how well we understood eachother, our vedder river walks, going to Vancouver to see a concert, her trying to teach me how to drive stick in a church parking lot! …She had a lot of patience, loyalty, and strength. Through her hard times, she still managed to wonder how we were doing and sent the odd msg that she was thinking of us. She will be missed by so many. My condolences to everyone that she was close to.

As Nancy's father, my heart has been filled with profound grief since her passing. I recall the joy of her birth though mixed with anxiety because of an assumed health issue. Memories of tobogganing,  birthday parties, picking her up after her cooking clases in Regina, playing softball catch, kicking the soccer ball, and going for rides to get ice cream in Manila are etched in my memory. Yet, it was so hard to see her going off to Faith Academy on the school bus at 6:15 am. However, she loved our vacations in Baguio where we could play ping-pong and enjoy the boxer dogs. She also loved working in the baby nursery at the church we attended in Manila. She loved this! Many years later in Chilliwack I fondly remember Nancy and me buying fishing gear to go fisning togetheralong the river.  Yet, I also cried for her and with her in her times of struggle. Three years ago, Nancy and I had some heart-warming  and long telephone conversations talking about her dog and our times in the Philippines. These conversations were very sweet and special. As I reflect on her life, Nancy's tender and sensitive heart for people and her ability to laugh & tell humourous stories are memorable to me. I am proud of her nursing care she provided for people, learning midwifery and using her skills and love to serve others while on mission trips overseas. I know that she touched the lives of many people. I  will deeply miss my dear daughter Nancy whom I loved with all my heart.   With all my love, Dad.
