Norman Foraie was born June 2, 1931 in Norquay, Saskatchewan, He passed away on May 19th, 2023. Norman met the love of his life Fay Lolacher in Creston, BC. They became engaged after a few months of dating and were married on June 11, 1952. The happy couple lived in Trail, BC where Norm worked at the local Smelter Operation. In 1953 Norman & Fay moved to Chilliwack, B.C. Norm worked for Bretts as a Mechanic. Later he moved on to Merv's Shell. Other occupations Norm worked at was a Prison Camp in Chilliwack, He also subbed as a Deputy Sheriff from time to time. Norm eventually opened up his own Service Station called City Hall Texaco. He ended his career as a Mechanic at Sears until they closed.

Norm & Fay had 70 years together. They raised 3 daughters, Linda Wiens (Don), Karen Anderson (Nelson) and Gail Banman (Peter).They were also blessed with 8 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Norm had many hobbies. These included playing Guitar, Mouth Organ, Accordion, and Mandolin & Violin. He loved Fishing, Camping and Dancing. He loved playing cards with Fay. Norm loved Life. He taught us all how to Live, Laugh & Love.

A Memorial Service was held on June 9th, 2023
