My dearest Paul

Not a day goes by, I haven’t shed tears for missing and longing for you. My heart aches for the love we shared!

 Each passing day has only gotten harder without you. I wish I could just wake up and find you here.

There is so much  I want to say and share with you. Our life was interrupted time and time again, but none so final with your passing!  I’ll never understand why God took you away!

There’s been a lot more loss and sadness, but we take comfort knowing you’re together watching over us.

Some things, I am so heartbroken to tell you because you deserved much better than what is happening here now. I’m sure you know, and are angry and disappointed, and by whom comes by no surprise! I should have listened to your warnings! You were right.

Mostly our families have been amazing and you’d be proud. Jen and I get together for regular lunch dates knowing your  love is with us always.

Louis and Amelie were blessed with a beautiful son,  Aleksander Carson Paul Silk.  You’d be so proud in seeing them as parents! We’ve felt you around us, sharing in his introduction to the family. He’s adorable!

Rod has become even more the man you influenced him to be, more like you! He honours you in every way! I’d be lost without him🙏  I’m so grateful to him, to you, for so much in our lives, more than ever!

Your little buddy Colten has had a challenging year not only missing you, but watching me struggle through grieving you!  You’d be pleased with how Chris has been here caring for us, our dogs, and our home.

All the grandchildren are growing to be amazing people! You’d be a proud papa!

I know Lincoln is well and with you. Lexus and Emily miss you still. We make sure they’re  getting your treats often!

To mention everyone that misses, and truly loved you, and the impact you’ve made in lives is an impossible endless list!

We will love you, need you, and miss you, forever Rest In Peace my love until we meet again 🙏

Shocked to hear of Paul's passing today. I met him in about 1965 through a neighbor family. He was an accomplished and successful businessman and loving husband and father.  My condolences to his family. Rest in piece Paul. You will be remembered by so many.

I first met Paul 11 years after Len in 1989 through my wife Patricia. We struck up a friendship which just grew & grew. I was shocked & devastated to learn that he had pasted away.
 When we moved to B.C. in 1994 it was Paul who made it all possible. That continued until this day.Most ,if not all major decisions I made Paul had a hand in. I would not be where I am today had it not been for Paul.
  When Paul met Ginger he was "in like Flyn". He had found his soul mate. At their wedding I had never seen him so nervous or so happy.It just got better & better for them as the years pasted by.
 To Ginger,Rod,Alisha,Lewis & the rest of the family I offer my sincere condolences. You have lost a person who loved and guided you throughout your lives. He has enhanced your being.
 I have lost one of my dearest friends. The memories & good times we shared will always be there. Sleep well my friend for you have more than earned the rest.

I meet Paul  when I was dateing Donny. And then I started  working for him at Fraser Valley I also did some projects with Laura and me we did Rodney's yard Garden and painted a house or building in the storage yard I had a great time doing that and I appreciated the money to at the time and I enjoyed working there my favorite saying was history mr. Moore had lots of trouble plus children from his marriage so I always called him Daddy Warbucks it was a nickname I had for him in loving memory I hope he has a good journey to the Pearly Gates and may he always be in your heart

I remember the day my best friend called and said I have a job for you, I went for an interview at my second home, Fraser Valley Disposal, and Paul graciously gave me a job, that turned out to be a turning point in my life. He allowed me to make friendships that last to this day, he helped me financially when I needed it, he allowed me a new start in life and, at that time I needed it. I will be eternally grateful to him, I will miss our early days having after work drinks, the pride he took in his business that he built himself. The joy he had in his classic cars and how he beamed when he met Ginger, his love for his family shone like a diamond, and he could be counted on when you really needed it. He even invited my Mom to his and Ginger's wedding, and I always remember the engagement Black and White party we threw for them at Mike and Abby's, my mom laughed that he has a hole in his sock so she bought him a new pair for a present, and he laughed as well! He drove us girls in his Chevelle when Mike and Abby got married, we thought we were all that, he was just an overall great man, who worked hard his whole life to get where he did, he will be missed by so many, family and friends alike and I for one am glad to say I knew him and always considered him my friend. One day we will meet again, and I am sure he will be behind the wheel of a classic car, toothpick in the corner of his mouth and a dog or two in the backseat! Its never goodbye, just until we meet again, love your friend LeeAnne..xo

I first met Paul in 1974  when Paul was 28.  We were both in the waste collection business..  
1974 was the beginning of many business deals which  involved both of us.  
In all the subsequent years there arose many unexpected situations.  We always sat down and came to a mutual understanding that cleared up the matter.   It was  settled amicably every time.  His level head and clear business acumen  made me very fond of Paul.  The business relationship early on moved into a deep friendship.  Not once did we have an unkind conversation.  We had a most wonderful respect for each other.  There were times I needed assistance , and he pwould stand with me.  
We will miss Paul very, very much.  He was one in a million, genuinely unselfiish.  Our hearts go out to Ginger and family.  Our fervent prayer is that God will sustain, encourage and protect  Paul’s dear wife Ginger.


Paul was an early riser  and very considerate. On the morning that I was visiting, I would wake up to a tea for Ginger and a coffee for me waiting on the kitchen counter. It was very thoughtful and that simple gesture just shows how he thought of the little things to make a nice start to everyone's day.  When we went to his "usual" hang outs to eat  [they all had to include Keno haha] he always ordered too much so that he could bring the dogs treats after. He loved animals and at his old house he had heated kids playhouses for the outdoor cats so they could stay warm in the winter. He took the danes for breakfast muffins in the morning and cruised around with them to get them out on little adventures.  I will miss him sitting in his chair catching me up to speed on "All the Drama" he would tell me with a glint in his eyes and a smile on his face.
