Richard Arnold Peltier

Dick is lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years Darlene, his children Anita (Greg), Lana (Stuart) and Andrew, his 4 grandchildren and his 4 great grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Virginia Bourne and many nieces and nephews.

Dick served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 37 1/2 years in many areas of Canada and Germany. He was a Korean War Veteran. Dick received many letters of appreciation, commendations and was presented the order of Military Merit award by the Governor General of Canada. Dick was known as the most knowledgeable and experienced Chief Warrant Officer in the Transportation trade. His time in the military was very fulfilling and he had a strong devotion to his career and to Canada.

After retiring Dick spent a very quiet life enjoying gardening and spending time outdoors with Darlene and their dogs as well as enjoying family and friends.

Dick had a great love for nature and animals. Memorial donations can be made on his behalf to any of the following charities. SPCA, Northern Lights Animal Rescue and Hope for Wildlife. He would be so pleased.
