Richmond Douglas Robert Wright

Remembering Richmond with love is his mother Kim Olson, his father Ronald Wright and his stepfather Richard Olson, his younger brother Reven Wright, his Nana Patricia Haigh and companion Edgar Olson, his step brother and sister Chris and Shannon. Aunties and uncles - Cameron and Bonnie, Robin and Roger, Randy and Kim, Sara and Doug, Liz and James, Glenn and Barb, and Kimmy, his cousins Tiara, Krystal, Katrina, Colin, Leah, Rebecca, Sarena, Joel, Amy and Max, his many nieces and nephews through marriage who he loved so much, and lastly his only true niece Voilet, who will learn the joy he brought to the world through stories passed down from her father Reven and the rest of the family.

Richmond will be remembered for his love of people and his love of life, something he always lived to the fullest. There was little he wasn't willing to try. At a young age he discovered a love of sports, which he excelled at, making several Rep teams.

As he grew, so did his love of fishing. He couldn't get enough. It consumed him. He became very skilled, very quickly. Then again it was in his blood. He couldn't get up for school in the morning but 5:00 am for fishing was a piece of cake. He often would go down to the river, little brother in tow, and wriggle into a tiny space between the lined up old boy fishermen. After hours with no luck, those old boys would get pretty choked when this kid waltzed in out of nowhere and maxed out his daily limit in no time. Later he would discover snowboarding, fly fishing and lake fishing for trout. He always knew the spots, what fly or lure to use and yes again, he could out fish anyone on the lake.

He was working toward a bright future when he was suddenly taken from us. He will always be remembered for his smile, sense of humour and the joy he brought to so many.

We will always miss Richmond and he is forever in our hearts. The family would welcome you to add your memories to the online memory section.
