Rita Margaret Clark

Rita was born January 4, 1937 in Einlage, Ukraine, where she resided until she immigrated to Canada in 1948. Here she later met her husband, William Clark and they were married in 1955. Rita and Bill raised 3 children in Richmond BC. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2011.

Rita is survived by her 3 children, Dr. William Clark (Cathy), Bruce Clark (Kathryn), and Blair Clark (Sharie); 8 grandchildren, Andrew (Haley), Graham (Kyla), Ashley, Taylor, William, Mitchell, Brad and Brooklynn as well as 4 great-grandchildren (Ava, Paxton, Liam and Harper). She is also survived by one brother, George Bunse and numerous nieces and nephews.

After their boys were grown, Rita and Bill moved to the Sunshine Coast where they spent many happy years before finally moving to Chilliwack in 2006 to be closer to their family.

Rita had a contagious passion for working in her garden and gave back to those around her with her beautiful flowers, baked goodies and delicious jars of jam.

She will be tremendously missed by her family and friends who’s lives she continuously blessed.

There will be a private service with her children and grandchildren at a future date.
