Barrie is survived by his daughters, Catherine (Michael) Silbaugh, Vickie (David) Dubé and Barbara (Darrell) Milne; his grandchildren, Cory, Shannon, Jason and Nathan as well as great grandchildren, Cynthia and Kaeden. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret Barbara Lloyd and son, Robert Gary Lloyd.
Barrie worked for the City of Vancouver. He was a gifted singer and piano player and an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Barrie was a member of R C L, Branch 280 and the Vancouver Heritage Railway Society and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 280, Vedder Golden, 5661 Vedder Rd, Chilliwack, BC on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 12 noon.
