Ruby Evelyn Bruhjell was born in Oyen, Alberta, on November 14, 1923, and passed away on February 22, 2025, in Aldergrove, British Columbia. She moved to Calgary when she was four years old and lived there until 1974, when she retired from her clerical work in the construction industry and moved to Victoria, B.C. In the summer of 2017, she moved to Chilliwack. At a special meeting in Calgary on December 6, 1936, at the age of 13, she made her choice to serve God to be true to that choice and to continue until death.
Ruby was predeceased by her parents and her nine siblings. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Ruby was a very conservative, gracious and refined woman, she was sweet and kind and will be remembered fondly by those who knew her.
