Scott Lee Moore

Scott Lee Moore passed away at the Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 45. He is survived by his mother, Diane Gail Moore, sisters, Gayleen Moore and Coleen (Gerald) Buchwitz and nephew, Logan Buchwitz. The Moore family also lost Scott's father, Alfred Lee Moore on this same day. Scott resided in Chilliwack for 45 years and was well know in the land developing and farming communities.

Scott enjoyed school sports, including community soccer. He cherished time spent on the family hobby farm, with cats, dogs, chickens, ducks and horses.

Scott was passionate about fishing and could be seen on the local rivers reeling in the fish. He also spent time cruising in his truck with a Tim Horton's coffee in hand, stopping to visit the people he knew in Chilliwack.

Scott strongly battled cancer for one year, and inspired all around him with his courage. Scotty we love you! You will be deeply missed by many family and friends, but never forgotten.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 6pm ~ 8pm at Henderson's Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 28th at 11:00 am at Henderson's Funeral Home Chapel, 45901 Victoria Ave. Chilliwack, BC. Burial to follow at 12:30 pm on Friday at Chilliwack Cemetery, 10010 Hillcrest Dr. A Tea will follow at Henderson's at 1:30.
