Tanya was born on December 28, 1975 in Winnipeg, MB.
At 21, in 1997, Tanya welcomed her only child, a daughter, Courtney with Ian Simson. No matter what life threw at Tanya, she didn’t let it stop her from being there for her daughter.
Tanya lost her first kidney at 23 from Congenital Kidney Disease. At 40yrs old, she started dialysis. She never let her condition take her down. At 47, Tanya started her own cleaning business and would go to dialysis overnight then work in the morning. She worked with 531 Beatty until the day she passed. She left a massive impact on all the residents and took pride in getting to know each one of them.
Tanya is predeceased by her father Roger and brother Dan.
Tanya is survived by her daughter Courtney, mother Val, brother Darrell (Jeannette), niece Nevada and nephews Mike and Brandon.
The family would like to thank Stacy for giving Tanya a comfortable place to rest before and after each dialysis treatment.
