Violet (Momma) passed away peacefully at the Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 91 years. She was born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan, and in 1945 moved to Oliver, British Columbia with her mom, dad, sister and brother. Violet is survived by six Children, four Nieces, many Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. Violet was very much a Lady, beautiful woman inside and out.
Violet had a love for children, looking after her own, her nieces and the neighborhood children. She was an amazing seamstress, loved to do crafts, made the best cinnamon buns and forever continued to hide baking in the freezer hoping we would not find it.
Our world is a sadder place now that she is no longer a part of it. She will always be in our hearts and will be forever missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
