For some reason I decided to check the Chilliwack Progress obituaries. Am so very sorry to read about Vivian's passing. Had been thinking about her lately and thought I should contact her when go out to Chilliwack again.  Sadly too late. 
She was a warm friendly, family oriented lady who will most certainly be missed by her family and friends.

Dick and I were so saddened to hear of the loss of your beautiful Mom.
I remember spending Sunday afternoons at your home in Rosedale when we were all a lot younger. I was fascinated by your wood stove, and the many wonderful creations your Mom was able to produce from it.
I remember she would walk to our house on Princess Avenue every Tuesday, after working at the Bank of Montreal. After a quick dinner, we would pile into the big green station wagon, and meet up with the rest of your family for the mid week service.
She will be missed.

To the family of Vivian Unrah.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.  Ps. 116:15  What a comfort to know she knew the Lord all those years.

Vivian worked for many years for my parents in Chilliwack.  I remember her as a faithful, loyal employee of many years  (a chatty one)  and would only see her when I went to Chilliwack to visit the folks.  (We live on Vancouver Island)  I was so disappointed to have missed her when she visited Miriam here last year.  I think we were away on a vacation.   I know we'll one day see her again.




Vivian and Jacob Unruh exemplified the values that make true civilization. Vivian was a model employee for my parents, John and Marie Klassen) for many years.  She was cheerful, energetic  and always a pleasure to be around.

Vivian loved her children, grandchildren and great children and her face  lit up whenever she spoke of them. Vivian made the world better in whatever way she could and it was a privilege to know her.  My husband and I both always enjoyed seeing her.
