Weldon was a great guy the entire time in knew him from 1991 to2002. I very much appreciated him and his wisdom and wit. Weldon was a great asset on the Mountain Institution Citizen’s Advisory Committee.  I will always remember Weldon with fondness. He has a very nice older car which he was proud of and was always pleased to have it shown in local car shows. Many blessings to his family.

My roommate for four years in college, a loyal friend for more than sixty years, memories of him will come up at opportune times for the rest of my life.

Although I only met Weldon once, he impressed me very much--it's to my regret that I did not get to know him better.

Weldon- your passing has touched many in our community; so long as one of your friends or acquaintances draws breath, you will be remembered with deep affection
