

Mrs. Annie Mae Faircloth, age 72 of Salisbury, North Carolina passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her home. Born September 11, 1948 in Cleveland County, Annie was the daughter of the late John Ernest Sailors and Annie Mae Hollifield Sailors. In addition to her parents, her daughter, Cynthia Sisk and son, Michael Faircloth, step-daughter, Michelle Stallings, along with her sisters, Evelyn Goode, Patsy Holland, Burene Arrowood Marilyn Hubbard and her brothers, Jay Sailors, Jim Sailors, Lawrence Sailors all preceded her in death.
Annie spent her career as a homemaker, caring for her home and taking care of her family. She was an excellent cook and loved preparing wonderful meals for her family. She loved to travel, especially going to Ocracoke at the Outer Banks and traveling to Niagara Falls.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 36 years, James Faircloth of the home. She also leaves behind her daughter, Kimberly Jones (John) and her sisters, Rosemary Barkley (Foy), Kathy McClosky (Terry), and Lavonda Pleasant. Also surviving Annie are her brother in-law, J.B. Holland and sister in-law, Shirley Sailors, along with many nieces and nephews.
A receiving of family and friends for Annie will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Westport Baptist Church, 2372 Lakeshore Road, Denver, NC 28037. Following the Receiving of Family and Friends will be a Graveside Service at 3:00 PM at Wesport Baptist Church Cemetery, Denver, NC.
