Barbara Ann Plott Davis

Born in Cabarrus County on August 31, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Grover Plott and Lucille Fink Plott.

One June 19, 1976, Barbara married Terry Lee Davis, and they shared almost 50 years together. Over the years, she helped on the family farm and worked at JC Penny Department Store in Salisbury. Mostly she spent her years as a homemaker. Her greatest legacy will always be the love she had for her family and affectionately being remembered as “Maw Maw”.

Barbara was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, where in past years, she had served in the nursery and helped with Vacation Bible School.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Terry Lee Davis; daughter, Alisa (Jeremy) Jenkins and son, Christopher (Shannon) Davis and five grandchildren, Madyson (Ean) Swink, Mason (Kayleigh) Jenkins, Hanna Davis, Brooklynn Davis, and Colton Davis.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 4820 NC Highway 152 W China Grove, NC 28023.

The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with Rev. Jody Seymour officiating with burial following in the church cemetery.
