Bettie Harrington Fesperman

China Grove-Bettie Harrington Fesperman, 66, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born July 27, 1948 in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Clegg Lamont Harrington and Agnes Mecimore Harrington Mixer. A graduate of South Rowan High and Rowan Tech, Mrs. Fesperman retired from F&M Bank and had earlier worked for Reynolds Metal. A member of Revolution Church in Kannapolis, Bettie loved her Lord, family and friends, but absolutely adored and lived everyday for her grandchildren.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her husband of 41 years, Harold Fesperman; her daughter, Wendy Fesperman Graham and husband, David of Kannapolis,; her son, Heath Fesperman and wife, Tina of China Grove; sister, Joann Montgomery (Bob), Salisbury; her brothers, Wayne Harrington (Donna), Mauldin, SC, Johnny Harrington (Vickie), Salisbury and Clegg Harrington (Pam) of Concord; her much loved grandchildren, Harley Graham Gagnier (Andy), David Graham III and Siera and Ethen Fesperman.

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 2, 2014, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral services to remember and celebrate Bettie's life will be at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Keith Kannenberg, pastor. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made in Mrs. Fesperman's name to Relay For Life, 4-A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, NC 27407 or St. Jude Children's Hospital, POB 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
