She was born on May 30, 1932 in Gaston County and was the daughter of the late Archie Lee Blue and Sunie Deese Blue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband David Silas Gulledge as well as her son Donnie Lee Gulledge. Those with cherished memories are her daughter Evelyn Goodman (fiance Lewis Wallace) and her sister Jeanette Gurley.
She worked her career as a waitress in the restaurant business. Being with her family was very important to her.
A visitation for Betty will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home, 1420 N. Main St, China Grove, NC, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM also at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home.
Betty will be laid to rest in Sunset Cemetery, Camp Julia Road, Kannapolis, NC.
