Betty E. Woods

She was born in Fayette Illinois on July 8, 1938 and was the daughter of the late John Warren and Alpha Summers Warren.

She worked most of her life as the secretary for Message Community Church. Decorating cakes was one of her favorite things to do.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry D. Woods.

Those with cherished memories are her sons John D. Woods (Lori), Mark Woods(Lynn) and Steve Woods (Jenny) as well her brother Doug Johnson and her grandchildren Tammy Nance, Jonathan Woods Matthew Woods, Stephanie Gray and Kenneth Woods.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
