Beverley Jean Williams Sechler

Born in Pennsylvania on August 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Williams and Esther Gentle Williams.

In addition to her parents, her husband of 51 years, Donnie Boone Sechler, preceded her in death in 2014.

Beverley worked as a Registered Nurse at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital for many years, and was the former owner of Midway Florist.

She enjoyed many things in life. Spending time with family, and Bambi, her dog, enjoying a good meal, and being outdoors were among her favorite things. She loved her flowers, horses, artwork and loved to Shag dance.

Most of all, Beverley loved the Lord and was a member of Shady Brook Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Kim (Jeff) Linker of Stanfield, NC, Chad Sechler, Todd (Kathy) Sechler, all of China Grove, NC and Keith (Jenny) Sechler of Mooresville, NC, and one brother, Richard (Connie) Williams of Malakoff, TX.

She is further survived by five grandchildren, Ashlyn (Adam) Tonaus, Brian (Mallory) Linker, Patrick (Ashley) Linker, Kayla Sechler and Kassidy Sechler; six great-grandchildren, Aubrianna, Sutton, McCoy, Harper and Molly Linker and Avalyn Tonaus.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Marty Payton officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to say a very special thank you to her Hospice Care Team, Stephanie, Heather, Mercedes and Lynn, who loved Beverley dearly and spent many hours caring for her. Also a special thank you to her loving caregiver Sue, who became like our family.
