He was born on February 4, 1953 in Anson County and was the son of the late Robert Watkins Clark and June Horne Clark. He was a long-time employee of Cannon Mills and worked in the Plant 1, number 5 weave room. He was an avid gardener and CB radio enthusiast and enjoyed fresh and saltwater fishing, country music and cooking.
Surviving family members include two daughters, Shelia of Kannapolis and Amanda and son Billy Jr., one brother William Lloyd Clark, three sisters, Pat Beaver of China Grove, Lynnette Petrea of Kannapolis and Susan Smith of Mooresville, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded by his brothers, Benny Cecil Clark, Robert Curtis Clark and Larry David Clark, all of Kannapolis.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held at a later date.
