Brenda Elaine Jarvis Hanson

Born May 2, 1951 in Coshocton, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Charles Isaac Jarvis and Carmen Oleva Jarvis.

Brenda was a homemaker for many years and loved caring for her home and children. She cared for many elderly patients over the years as a nursing assistant and she started a residential cleaning service in 1999 and continued that work until 2022. Brenda was very passionate about any job that she had, showing great care, compassion and dedication. But beyond all, she was a child of God and loved to share his message even serving on a mission trip to Nicaragua in May of 2014.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Marion Toman and brother, Timothy Jarvis, as well as her husband of 55 years, Danny Keith Hanson on April 22, 2025.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Gregory Keith Hanson (Wendy) of Indian Land, SC; daughter, Kristi Vickers (Shawn) of Ludowici, GA; three grandchildren, Destiny Jo Freeland, Gabriel Shawn Vickers and Benjamin Gage Vickers and three great-grandchildren, Asher Cole Freeland, Aubrey Raine Freeland and Amber Skye Freeland.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 30, 2026 from 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.

A funeral service will being at 2:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
