Carolyn was born on February 18th, 1948, in Cabarrus County to the late Duncan Thomas Sellers and Gladys Mae Young. She was educated in Rowan County Schools and attend Rowan Cabarrus Community College where she obtained her CNA 2 licenses. Carolyn worked in the healthcare field for over 40 years.
Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, and watching sermons of various local pastors on YouTube. She and her family would often go out to eat, visit thrift stores and find local produce. Carolyn had recently spent 5 days in Cherokee NC with her daughter Belinda. Carolyn could often be found on her back porch feeding the stray cats or squirrels who would visit her daily. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Blevins, grandson Andrew Myers, brothers, Tommy Sellers, Kenneth Sellers and Chris Sellers, sisters, Vickie Faggart and Sylvia Sellers.
