Chris Lee Hodge

Christopher "Chris" Lee Hodge, 32, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, December 20, 2014. Chris was born on June 28, 1982 at Northeast Medical Center, the son of Donald "Don" Lee Hodge and Nora Frances Stubbs Cannon. Educated in the Rowan County schools, Chris graduated from Rockwell Christian School and was employed with Performance Fibers, where he was a production operator. Gone too soon, Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Chris leaves to cherish his memory his father, Don Hodge; his mother, Nora Frances Cannon and her husband, Larry; his brothers, Bradley Hodge and his wife, April, and Thomas Stirewalt, Jr.; his grandmothers, Reba Hodge and Jeanette Stirewalt; nephews, Josh and Caleb Stirewalt and his niece, Megan McCollum. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda McCollum. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. There will be no formal funeral services. The family is honoring Chris' wishes to be cremated. Please remember Chris fondly and remember and support his family as they grieve his passing.
