Mr. Curtis Odell Bost

Mr. Curtis Odell Bost 79 of Salisbury, passed away on Monday April 7, 2014 at his residence. Born on June 19, 1934 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late George E. Bost and Lina Seamon Bost. A graduate of China Grove High School, he was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. He owned and operated Curt's Bow Shop and retired from McKenzie Taxidermy. He was a member of the N.C.Bow Hunters Association and the Sapona Archery Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by 5 brothers and 3 sisters and 1 great grandchild Riley Faith Bracken. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife Virginia Childress Bost, son Darryl Bost (Becky) of Salisbury and daughter Robin Thomas (Paul) of Salisbury. He is also survived by his brother Roy Bost (Velma) of Mt. Ulla and Homer Bost (Gertrue) of Salisbury, and sister Lois Burris of Spencer. He had 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 til 8:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with funeral on Wednesday at 2:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home with Rev. William Ketchie, minister. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Marks Lutheran Church, 5202 Mooresville Rd. Salisbury, NC 28147
